This blog is presented by the Greater Middletown Chorale, Inc., as part of its European concert tour from April 9-19, 2008.
A group of 60 (including several family members and friends) will visit Vienna and Salzburg, Austria; and Prague, Czechoslovakia, with touring support provided by Casterbridge Tours. The Chorale will sing a program of American and European works. The repertoire, which will vary by venue, includes Antonin Dvorak’s Mass in D Major, the timeless and distinctly American Alleluia by Randall Thompson, and a newly commissioned setting of Lift Every Voice and Sing, by the Chorale’s own Colin Britt.
